REIKI TRAINING

Astraea Healing Connection offers Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki training for individuals and small groups (three to five people) at all three levels of Reiki: Level I, Level II, and Level III (Reiki Master). Training sessions vary in length depending on the size of the group and the familiarity of the participants with Reiki as a form of energy healing. All training sessions are conducted via Zoom. To register for a Reiki training, please complete the registration form for the appropriate level.
During Reiki training students receive attunements – energy activations – which facilitate the flow of Reiki – universal life force energy. We all have potential to access this life force energy and have a natural connection to it. The activations performed during a Reiki attunement (initiation) serve to enhance this access. Each Reiki level comes with a set of symbols, which students receive as means to apply the Reiki energy. The symbols serve to enhance mental concentration, and thus give the Reiki energy more potency. Following the training, depending on the level, students can perform hands-on Reiki treatment for self and others – Reiki Level I; send Reiki energy via distance healing – Reiki Level II; or attune other students – Reiki Level III.

The first degree of Reiki allows the practitioner to perform hands-on treatment for self, or others. During a Reiki I training students receive energy attunements, which facilitate the flow of Reiki and learn the hand positions for giving a hands-on Reiki treatment. There are no prerequisites for Reiki Level I. If a student has already been attuned to a different form of Reiki, the new attunements will not interfere, or impact the existing energy activations. (It is possible to register for Reiki I and Reiki II at the same time. Attunements for each level will be conducted in two separate, consecutive sessions.)

Reiki Level I

The second degree of Reiki allows the practitioner to give distance healing for self, or others. During a Reiki II training students receive additional energy attunements, which further enhance the flow of Reiki and learn how to perform distance healing. Having received Reiki Level I attunements in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system is a prerequisite for enrolment in Reiki Level II. If a student has already been attuned to a different form of Reiki, it is recommended to sign up for Reiki Level I, in order to receive the initial attunements, prior to registering for Reiki Level II. (It is possible to register for Reiki I and Reiki II at the same time. Attunements for each level will be conducted in two separate, consecutive sessions.)

The third degree of Reiki – Reiki Master – enables the practitioner to give attunements for all levels of Reiki. During a Reiki III training students receive an additional attunement – known as the Master symbol – which further enhances the flow of Reiki and learn how to perform distance Reiki energy activations. Having received Reiki Level I and Reiki Level II attunements in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system is a prerequisite for enrolment in Reiki Level III. If a student has already been attuned to a different form of Reiki, it is recommended to sign up for Reiki Level I and Reiki Level II, in order to receive the initial attunements, prior to registering for Reiki Level III.
